We do not offer off the shelf products at SYFM Ltd, we only manufacture to our client’s own design. Using both modern and traditional upholstery techniques, we will make your creative vision a reality, whether that be a sofa, armchair, ottoman or something completely different. We can work from hand drawing, photo or CAD drawings and also supply these if required.

What’s Inside?

All our frames are made from solid hardwood such as Beech and are plugged, glued and screwed, providing a durable frame to stand the test of time.

We have all the upholstery fillings available to us and depending on the design and comfort specification, there will be a mixture of the most luxurious fibres used.

Traditionally upholstered items will be webbed and sprung with hand lashed copper cone springs, covered with hessian and stuffed and stitched with 100% hair. A secondary padding of lamb’s wool and goose down is then added before lining in cotton.
